NEW SCHOOL REVIEW

Updates Canton residents on the Galvin Middle School project, the date of the special town meeting of November 18th, held at 7pm at Canton High School, and explains the ballot vote of December 10th.

Hosted by Media Specialist, Darcie Fisher of Ellis Strategies, with guests Superintendent of Schools, Derek Folan and School Committee and School Renovations member, Kristian Merenda.  Repeats Thursday-Wed.(Oct 24-31) at 9 AM, 4 PM, 9 PM

HOW A NEW GMS WILL IMPROVE CPS EDUCATION

  • Enhance the quality of teaching and learning
  • Improve the school experience for students, teachers and staff
  • Better support educators as they respond to students’ academic, social and emotional needs
  • Increase accessibility for all students, including those with disabilities
  • Prevent the diversion of District funds from addressing emergency repairs to implementing curriculum
  • Create an environment that empowers students to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially
  • Improve energy efficiency, indoor air quality, thermal comfort and natural light
  • Provide a more cost-effective operating solution
  • Improve issues of proximity
  • Augment existing safety and security features
